we recently spoke with TORI LEE OF BLACK GIRLS SOCIAL to learn how she is amplifying her voice through her brand.

My voice deserves to be heard because....

It is my voice! No two voices are the same and so mine needs to be in the mix.

So now I see myself as magical, even the flaws are a part of the magic.

What does finding your voice mean to you?

I found my voice the day I started intentionally loving myself.

Jordan Gill of The Kolada Group

Did your upbringing shape who you are today?

It did. My grandmother was all about confidence and strength. She pushed me to speak, she pushed me to learn and she pushed me to never accept a defeat without getting back up to win.

Describe your journey? What was your defining moment?

I'm still on this journey, I honestly do what feels good to my soul and I don't limit myself. I decided this year to just say yes to the things that scare me. Say yes to what seems impossible and it's really working out!

Advice to someone in search of finding their voice in the entrepreneurial, influencer and creative space.

Sis, you don't have to find something you own. Your voice is there, start using it. We hinder ourselves by trying to perfect what God has given us, raw talent. Perfecting my voice came from using it and trusting that God will fill in the gaps.

Who is_______?

Black Girls Social! She is a community of Black Women. We are curating a space within "her" for us to be ourselves, take the guard down and just exhale. Now, Tori...see I'm in love with her. She is the prayer that God answered when I was broken. I am currently a reflection of people that have poured into me. So now I see myself as magical, even the flaws are a part of the magic.

How will you continue to amplify your voice?

I will continue to authentically invested in telling the story of my journey and creating a space where women can come as they are.
